This modern house required a contemporary garden which related directly to the internal rooms:

1. access onto a kitchen terrace to enjoy al fresco dining

2. a grass terrace to take overspill from the house during a summer party

3. a vista to run from the front door through the house and down the central steps to the lower squared lawn which can be used for summer garden games.
