There are many features in this large country garden.

The most important was the pond and waterfall that needed to dominate the view from the sitting room through the bifold doors.

Other features include a bark path through the planting up to the greenhouse and vegetable garden.

On the other side an informal path lead through some meadow planting to an extensive entertaining area, which captures the last of the evening sun.

Notice the magnificent ancient sweet chestnut that dominates the western part of the garden – (see plan).
