Lewes – Steep Access
One-to-One
Impossibly steep steps down into this garden made it physically and mindfully difficult to access this garden.
Reducing the height of each step, providing a handrail and bringing the garden up to meet the steps, overcame all these fears.
A welcoming seating area three quarters of the way down the steps allows a view over the garden from the comfort of a seat or bench.
