Reshaping the Landscape
The existing garden needed to be extended and provide a view which blended naturally into the neighbouring landscape. An existing pond, situated on this boundary, was doubled in size and where the spoil, generated from the pond, was used on site to create the double helix mound, where the marginal planting hides it in summer and reveals it in winter.
