This traditional garden is made up of several parts both formal and informal and all relating to each other around a converted early nineteenth century barn of a mock Tudor style. The understorey of the shaded woodland planting meets with the wild flowers and grasses of the open meadows. The formal lawns, picking and vegetable gardens all have their own place in the garden with the formal parterre taking up the position at the front of the house.
