Lewes – Urban Sanctuary Garden

One-to-One

The slope meant that creating a flat area in this garden was a very important factor in making it a useable space.

A small water feature with a fountain allowed a gentle noise to create an atmosphere of tranquillity and help distract from the noise of the traffic.

Traditional brick paving was used throughout all sourced from a local brick company in Freshfield, Danehill.

The planting was focused on the structural makeup of the plants rather than the colour. The use of a banana illustrates this point.
